Hustle Barbie cannot stop. Outrage Barbie is on fire. Pleaser Barbie has lost herself in caretaking. Conspiracy Barbie has all the answers. Empath Barbie is drowning in everyone else's feelings. Sober Barbie is on day 3 and white-knuckling it. Each Barbie meets the trigger that fires her particular script and walks the Five Steps in real time, in language that fits her terrain. Then the next Barbie, on a different day, walks the same steps through her own.
The same teaching. Different costumes. The reader who recognizes herself in Hustle Barbie has just received the framework that lives at full depth in Love Heroically and What Happened to Us? — without having read either one. The seed is planted. Sometimes that is enough. Sometimes it is the beginning.
